Mặc dù Quảng Ngãi là một trong những điểm nóng của đại dịch Covid-19, 6h sáng ngày 20/08/2020, đội ngũ dịch vụ của Công ty Cổ phần Kỹ thuật Nhân Việt (NVE) đã tập kết tại Nhà máy Đóng tàu Dung Quất để học an toàn và làm các công tác chuẩn bị để thực hiện công việc bảo trì hệ thống thủy lực phao SPM của nhà máy Lọc dầu Dung Quất, thuộc gói thầu bảo dưỡng tổng thể lần 4, là lần bảo dưỡng lớn nhất sau nhiều năm hoạt động.
Do yêu cầu ngặt nghèo về chất lượng cũng như tiến độ của gói thầu, tất cả anh em trong đội làm việc không ngơi nghỉ từ 6h30 cho tới 21h30 tất cả các ngày, kể cả Thứ 7, Chủ nhật và Quốc khánh 2/9. Tuy khối lượng công việc rất lớn, đòi hỏi sự tập trung cao độ, nhưng mọi người đều rất nỗ lực hoàn thành công việc được giao để đảm bảo đúng tiến độ đề ra, và nhận được sự đánh giá cao của nhà thầu chính.
Sau hơn một tháng triển khai, chiều ngày 23/9, phao SPM đã nhập chuyến dầu thô đầu tiên sau thời gian bảo dưỡng, trong sự vui mừng của chủ đầu tư cũng như các nhà thầu. Công ty CP Kỹ thuật Nhân Việt cũng rất vinh dự được đóng góp một phần nhỏ bé trong thành công đó.
